"Due to his service in Vietnam, through no fault of his own, my husband was exposed to Agent Orange that caused him to acquire insulin dependent diabetes and neuropathy. Over the past 11 years I have watched a once vital and active man, become a prisoner in his own body, or what's left of it. Amputations,heart attacks, seizures, brain tumor, paralysis, being vision and hearing impaired, renal failure, PTSD, MRSA,15% use of his heart,COPD, crippling arthritis, loss of use of his hands, reliance on 32 prescriptions 3X daily, oxygen, memory loss. Affirmative Action
Does affirmative action work to correct the inherent injustices of a racist system? Or is it really "reverse racism" as some claim? Let's look at two hypothetical students. Student A got a 3.8 GPA in a great, suburban high school where the average GPA is a 3.0. Student B got a 3.0 GPA in a sub par, urban high school where there is much more crime and distractions, and the average GPA is a 2.2 (of those who graduate).

Why Girls Should Wear Panties and Cross Their Legs
Oh my; I really can't make this stuff up. I was just checking out the headlines and found this. A Florida mother is demanding that her daughter's high school stop handing out yearbooks and reclaim those that have already been handed out. It seems that the young girl in question had her picture taken with a group.
