Which operating system(s) do you use? Why?
I was born a Windows girl; I will die a Windows girl. Just like the hokey commercials spoof, my boyf is a Mac and I'm a PC. This is something we continually (jokingly, but not without standing up for our OSes) argue about.Posted 5/22/2009 at 1:19 PM - add eprops - add comments
No, My Boyfriend is NOT White
“Your boyfriend’s in Finance? Mine is, too. Oh, and he’s White.” Silence. What? Was I supposed to squeal as though you’ve just shown me the most fabulous pair of this season’s shoes that you’d miraculously gotten on sale? Was I supposed to gasp with admiration at the fact that you’ve managed to snag the most coveted “White man?” Was I supposed to ask if I could see a picture of him, as though you’d just bought a shiny new car? If you’re waiting for some sort of reaction, don’t hold your breath for too long; there already seems to be too much of an oxygen shortage up there. Walmart versus Green Day
I understand that there are a multitude of artists who are willing to censor their work to see it sold at Walmart. Good for them. They should be allowed to do that to if they feel they need to. But that should not be made the rule. There are Parental Advisory images on CDs that meet the criteria. There are methods worked into cash registers to prompt cashiers to ask for ID if a product is of a cetain rating. Posted 5/22/2009 at 7:59 PM - add eprops - add comments
Tell me about any Xanga bugs!
On Fridays, I usually try to fix up random bugs that have popped up on Xanga. Only problem is, sometimes, I don't realize a bug exists until much later. So let's try something out. If you've experienced some random bug or something you think is a bug, leave me a comment on this blog and I'll check it out. Posted 5/22/2009 at 8:29 PM - add eprops - add comments
Teacher: Read This Book That Offends You or Drop the Class
Last week, a student in my Literature class dropped out because she didn't want to read a controversial book that the teacher had assigned. Posted 5/22/2009 at 8:59 PM - add eprops - add comments
