The server and software maker said it's facing 3 class-action complaints from shareholders aimed at blocking its takeover by business software giant Oracle. (ORCL) Sun (JAVA) also disclosed in an SEC filing that it may have broken a U.S. law prohibiting companies from bribing foreign officials. It said it's discussed the matter with the Justice Dept. and a foreign gov't, but didn't identify the nation. Sun edged up 0.3% to 9.13. Oracle slid 0.5% to 18.32.
