The growth of online PC gaming in China not only has boosted the fortunes of several companies there, it could portend a major shift ahead in the worldwide video game market.
The medical record and billing software maker said its Q4 EPS fell 2.4% to 40 cents, missing views by 7 cents. Revenue rose 28.5% to $65.8 mil. Quality Systems (QSII) said some of its customers delayed making purchases because of uncertainty connected to the economic stimulus package. The stimulus was signed into law in Feb. and allocates billions in funding over the next decade to hospitals and clinics that adopt electronic medical records. Shares fell 5.2% to 49.93.search traffic in April, up half a percentage point from the month before, according to tracking firm comScore. Yahoo (YHOO) was a distant second with 20.4% of searches. Microsoft came in third with just 8.2%.
