| David, I didn't quite get all of your response to Gar this afternoon regarding your success rate using the 6 tick stop. I understand the method, but not your response. Could you expand please. I jotted down -2, -4 will give 90% positive or breakeven (9 out of 10 trades) 2.5 pts needed per trade 6 and 7s, can get 8s if use -2, but haven't in awhile Were you referring to 6, 7, and 8 pt runs or were you referring to using this method on 6,7,8 contracts? Do you use a larger stop when holding intraday? On multiple contracts do you go all in with 4 and then add? How do you typically scale in? Do you have additional rules regarding how many stop outs you will tolerate before sitting on your hands? It seems that entry WITH momentum (participation) in the right direction is key to this method working. Do you refrain from trading it on a chop day like today? I really want to focus on money management here. Thanks for your help. Karen |
