The Sales Manager identifies, secures, and maintains customers whose needs can be met by the company's strengths at rate levels which produce the highest possible profits for our company. Other duties include responsibility for all sales efforts within the assigned territory and acting as a liaison between the customer and the company.
Duties include:
• Manage and administer the assigned territory and account base in a professional, economical and efficient manner.
• Establish and attain sales goals.
• Develop directional customers in accordance with the company’s needs.
• Determine customer needs and requirements and communicate same to operations and customer service.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account files.
• Complete administrative paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Forecast account and territory productivity expectations as input to the overall sales budget.
• Promote positive communication within and between all departments of the company.
• Communicate existing business climate and conditions, as well as obtain competitive information.
Requirements
• 3-5 years experience in a sales or related field
• Experienced and comfortable working with a wide range of personalities, including aggressive clients
• Demonstrated ability to sign new business and develop existing business, a huge plus would be strategic business development
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to travel to customer locations and present professional company image
