Thanks for the understanding,
He actually was in the database, but I didn't have an email for him. It matches on email.
I wish this could all be perfect but nothing ever is.
I'm just glad that your back on and doing what you do
Thanks

I spoke to Nathan about this and I told him I understand the whole verbal referral vs. CRH.  We simply need to try to avoid conflicts such as this in the future.

I'll keep plugging away.  I hope you guys get some more go-getters like Justin for us to work with.  I think you know by now it's easy to fill up a realtors funnel, now we simply need to get deals to pop out the other end for both teams.

These growing pains will work themselves out I'm sure.  I appreciate you bringing clarity to this particular situation.  Let me know in the future if there is a verbal referral involved aside from CRH.  I believe in the first contact sticks premise in the database, John should have been in the system as your referral prior to his entry form the web, perhaps that would have prevented my first call form happening.  I'm happy to step aside but hope in the future these situation will be avoidable entirely.

Thanks for doing what you do, I think the database system works well.  Good work.

When Did John speak to Danyel?  Before or after the 20th when I called him?

The way it went down was John had called me directly and I gave him Danyel's number, they were in contact. Then he logged onto the website and became a prospect 0. Then Ken converted him. Since these systems are all automatic it's impossible for everything to be perfect.
I told John about what happened and apologized about being contacted twice. I let him know that our systems are in place so this doesn't happen, but he slipped through the cracks from not being in the database.
I told John to work with whoever he felt more comfortable with, and make sure that everyone one was on the same page.

David,

We had spoken about this opportunity and I am moving forward with it.

I truly do not appreciate Danyel's unprofessional behavior.  Your Rule #1, if you speak to the contact their your client.  I thought that was clearly understood by all?

Good Evening Ken,

I have been working with John Ingles and as I understand it you had contacted him as well. This happens with Data basis I am sure. So I talked to John and explained to him that we are all team players here, however we do work individually. I of course gave him the option to work with either of us. He said he would stick with me since we had already started the process here. I am sure you understand. Sorry about that. It is a pleasure to work with you. Thanks!

Respectfully,

Danyel Shipley
