Wild Women of Wine Country
do it again!
Kudos to the 1,000+ participants at South Coast Winery’s Wild Women of Wine Country 5K Walk Thru The Vineyards for Michelle’s Place on May 2nd when you converged onto the grounds to raise much-needed funds for Michelle’s Place Breast Cancer Resource Center. While the exact total of moneys raised for Michelle's Place at this time is unknown, we do know people gave – and gave!!! Donations from the 5K sponsors and during the 5K registration alone garnered approximately $11,000 in checks and cash for Michelle’s Place, proving once again that YOU CAN BE THE CHANGE YOU ENVISION!
We would like to tip our hats – or shall we say bras – to Press Enterprise’s Dan Bernstein for his insightful article on our upcoming Wild Women of Wine Country Traveling Bra Show benefiting Michelle’s Place Breast Cancer Resource Center! Who knew? According to Maggie Carter, “The 60’s saw us burning our bras, but today’s Wild Women of Wine Country are not only embracing our bras, we’re well… decorating them!” Those who attended the May 2nd 5K Walk Thru the Vineyards saw a few of the specially designed bras’ debut , but now is the time to let your inner bra designer out to play and become a part of something bigger: The Traveling Bra Show.
