David:

OK I added support for the optionhouse export file.  You'll need to save the activity report in CSV format.  So bring it up in Excel and go to File, Save As and choose "CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)" from the Save as type dropdown.  Save the file and use that file to import.  Look for the optionhouse option on the bulk import page.

Also, I can't tell whether these times are all eastern, so when you choose optionhouse you also get to choose the timezone.  If you can confirm they're always eastern time, I'll take that away.

Can you give it a whirl?

Thanks!
Dave

I'm not sure which one to send you. You can export from the orders pane or form the activity pane. They do let you set filters, but I didn't filter an of the onfo out

I'm actually working on it right now.  Can you send me a newer version of your excel spreadsheet?  I'm trying to see if the executions are in chronological or reverse chronological order starting at the top of the file.

That Excel file looks like it will probably work.  How many days worth of transactions does it look like you could download at one time?  If you don't mind, could you send me a screenshot of the interface?

Also, if you could let me know what steps you took to get to that page within OptionsHouse.  (for example look at the bulk import instructions format: http://www.stocktickr.com/docs/journalimport/)

Thanks!

We don't now, but we've never been asked to.  Do you already have your account setup?  If so can you see what format the Excel download is in?  See if you can send me the download and I'll see if we can support it.

This FAQ on their page implies that they have one that might work:

Can I download to Quicken/Microsoft Money?

While we intend to in the future, we do not currently offer this functionality. We will notify you when we support this function. You can download your Positions, Orders and Activity information to Excel.

Hi Dave,
Are you going to support optionhouse? I'm switching brokers. I could have saved about 1600 dollars last week in commissions. They have a 9.95 flat options fee no matter how many contracts you purchase. Amazing huh...

Yes, that is the plan.  For options trades it will show a chart of the underlying symbol.

Thanks for your interest.

David:

I noticed some errors coming from the blog posting function on StockTickr.  We're actually working on some new functionality there that you might be interested in.  I'll let you know when we have something for you to test.

Can you send me some information about your blog?  What type is it?

Thanks!
