I first off, want to say thank you for the insight that you provide on your website. When I discovered the e-minis and pivot points, I knew this was what I wanted to trade, study, and be. Then I discovered your websites, and the details about pivots, gap trading, and ambush trading (fib levels is another tool that I love) and I was blown away.
I wanted to email you to ask for guidance on a subject I'm sure that you get asked about frequently. I work a 9-to-5 and am looking to get from point A to point B. Not only do I desire to do what I love in life, but for my family. I hate leaving my one son for work every day, and my other son will require special physical needs when born. I also hate watching my wife have to go work everyday. I want to provide my family with a life I feel they deserve, and being able to do something I love while providing for my family is the ultimate desire.
The fear I currently have is leaving my job without enough of a savings set aside, but I'm also not in a position where I can trade at work. I have tried to trade at work but then work gets to be too much of a distraction, and I feel it could be very costly to my wallet if I am unable to give it my undivided attention. I have considered program trading just until I can trade with the addicts that I aspire to be, but not completely sure of how to go about starting this journey.
